HTS has created this privacy statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to your right to privacy. This statement outlines our personal information-handling practices for this Web site. Collection of Personal Data

HTS collects personal information to operate effectively and to comply with government regulations (e.g., employment, tax, insurance). HTS collects and maintains Personal Information from its current and former employees, from individuals it may potentially employ or place for permanent or temporary employment with HTS customers, from current and former contingent workers (including contractors, temps and other non-employees) of HTS and at times, it may collect or be exposed to personal information from its customers. On various pages  of the HTS Web site, HTS collects personal information that is voluntarily provided by users when a user submits information for the purpose of searching for temporary or permanent employment opportunities, submits his or her resume for inclusion in an HTS database or responds to a specific listed employment position.

The information HTS collects will be used only as described in this Privacy Statement and/or in the way we specify at the time of collection. We will not subsequently change the way your personal data is used without your consent. Some of the ways we may use your personal data include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide the ability to contact you;
  • Compliance with human resource requirements;
  • Compliance with government regulations,
  • Provide payroll and human resources functions, including employee benefits programs;

In order to provide services to our customers, we may collect personal data from our customers. We may collect this information solely for the purposes of managing the work we are contracted to manage and for no other reason. HTS will abide by any contractual obligations contained in any customer agreement related to the collection of Personal information we receive from the customer.

HTS notifies all identified data subjects about the purposes for which personal data is collected and used. In appropriate situations, however, Personal information may be "anonymized" so that the identity of individual data subjects cannot be known. In these cases, HTS will not notify you regarding the purpose for which personal data is collected and used by HTS.

The Way We Use Information

HTS may use your personal information in connection with processing requests by potential customers or potential employers of contract workers or temporary employees. HTS may disclose personal data about you to potential employers (direct placements) or potential customers if you are a contract worker we are seeking to assign to a customer.

We may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process by disclosing your personal data and other related information, if necessary. We also may disclose your personal data when we choose to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We only provide these third parties with the minimum amount of personal data necessary to provide the services on our behalf, and the third parties are not permitted to use your personal data except for the limited purpose of completing the requested service or transaction.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes unless you have granted us permission to do so.

Circumstances may arise where, whether for strategic or other business reasons, HTS decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize businesses. Such a transaction may involve, in accordance with applicable law, the disclosure of personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, or the receipt of it from sellers. It is HTS's practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions.

We may collect and possibly share personal data and any other additional information available to us in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of HTS's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

As a part of our providing services to our customers, we may share personal data from our customers with other third parties as instructed by the customer. We may share the personal data with others solely for the purposes of managing the work we are contracted to manage and for no other reason and will abide by any contractual obligations contained in any customer agreement related to the sharing of personal data we receive from the customer.

HTS takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is accurate, complete and current. All current and former employees of HTS, applicants for specific jobs within HTS and current and former contingent workers (including contractors, temps and other non-employees) of HTS, as well as individuals we may potentially employ, are asked to inform HTS immediately in the event of changes in personal information.
